PEDRO E. CANDIDO MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL is a public secondary school which is located at the simple and beautiful municipality of Hernani, Province of Eastern Samar, Philippines.
The school is almost on its golden anniversary since it was established on the early 1968. The school is currently situated in the uphill barangay of Nagaja for almost four years now. The school site has been transferred after the devastation of its original site by the strongest typhoon ever recorded in Philippine history, the ruthless Typhoon Yolanda.
The school has slowly able to stand up once again because of the help form various government and non-government organizations. The community has been so resilient in spite of the said debacle while the school's commitment on bringing quality education to its learners has never faltered. With the grace of God, everything is slowly but surely falling into places once again for this meek and humble institution.
